Queer women exist anywhere, at your local bookstore, restaurants, movie theaters, etc.  But if one wants to be sure, on girls nights at clubs and bars are the most popular places to meet potential queer women.  One can also meet queer women online on http://myspace.com, http://downelink.com, http://friendster.com, http://planetout.com, this site, and many other social networking/dating sites.  Joining the mailing list for special interest groups is also a great place.  One can find women groups on http://groups.yahoo.com based on ethnicity and age preference, for instance.  A lot of queer women tend to be involved with non-profit organizations, so that is another bet that one can meet them there.  Non-profit organizations include LGBT, APAIT, and many more.
