What do lesbians wear or how can we identify them?

The obvious looking lesbians are those who mixes their style with touch of masculinity.  They can have very short hair and wear jeans or t-shirts most of the time.  Two things I noticed that are obvious are the type of shoes they wear and short nails.  There are also lipstick lesbians but those are hard to identify because they look how all straight women look like, with long hair, dresses, and other very feminine or girly qualities.  If you have a great way to identifying lipstick lesbians, please do share.

I think regardless of style it's more about attitude and the nonverbal messages. Usually my gaydar registers women that seem more female-oriented by the way they express themselves, their gestures, the way they move, or their attention. Also, in general, their attitude seems more certain and confident, and less conventional. All this regardless of level of femininity, masculinity, or style.
